Oral steroids are available in tablets or capsules. Simply swallow them and drink them. Doctors and athletes agree that oral steroids burden the liver much more than injectable forms. In larger quantities they remain in the liver. Because it must, it does not want to pass through the digestive tract, most of the dose is in tension before it reaches the bloodstream.
